The IT Project Clearance process is mandatory for all government MDAs intending to implement IT projects. It ensures projects are:
- In line with government IT strategies,
- Avoid duplication, and
- Promote cost-effectiveness and accountability.
Projects that require clearance include:
- Software and hardware procurement,
- Web development,
- ICT infrastructure deployment.
How to Access
- Visit the ITPC Portal: clearance.nitda.gov.ng
- Create an account for your MDA (Ministry, Department, or Agency).
- Fill out the Project Registration Form, including project scope and budget.
- Upload necessary documents: project proposal, justification, and feasibility studies.
- Track the status of your clearance request online.
- Receive a Certificate of Clearance upon approval.
